The latest single released by Dance To The Radio, the label that brought the world ¡Forward, Russia!, is Drop The Decade by Leeds-based five-piece Shut Your Eyes And You’ll Burst Into Flames.
This is their second single release, after Signal Noise, and its roughly three-and-a-half minutes long. Despite its average length, this song goes off at more tangents than a Ross Noble joke. Its funky opening gives way to some electro, before storming into a frenetic mid-section and an amazingly catchy chorus.

There’s a big future for these guys, who remind me quite a bit of !!! with a small sprinkling of Test Icicles thrown in. Given time to simmer, Shut Your Eyes… could be the next great up-and-coming band.
