Track listing:
1. Badman (2006 version 2.0)
2. Saturday Night (Scary Nite Mix)
3. Angelino (Demo)

Oki Dog invented themselves by accident. After somebody asked them if they knew of a band who could do a gig, they immediately volunteered themselves, without even having any songs. They were a band without ever intending to be.
I'd never heard of a band being named after food until now, "Oki Dog, now closed, was the "Home of the Oki Dog" (a flour tortilla wrapped around two hot dogs and filled with chili and cheese) a thorn in the neighbourhood's side because of its popularity amongst punk rockers during the early 1980s."

"Badman (2006 version 2.0)," is full of distorted guitars and piercing vocals. The vocals could be a little louder so we can hear what Grace is singing/shouting about. A strong melody runs throughout this song and the 'Do you want me' chant is definitely something to shout from the roofs. Towards the end of the song there is a lot of shouting and swearing and three repeats of the line 'I owe you an STI,' which disturbed me a little.
Following on is "Saturday Night (Scary Nite Mix)," which begins with a long murderous scream and ripping guitar riffs. With a lot of repeats of the line 'This is what I do on a Saturday night' I found myself flinching while listening to this track as it is full of high pitched vocals and more screaming, which hurt.
"Angelino" brings a little hope to the EP with it's intro, and the song follows with a lot of repeats of the same line, something which seems to run throughout the whole EP. The high pitched vocals are brought down a tone with the help of some male vocals this time. The song has an extremely fast tempo and has the potential to get any crowd moving.

The guitar sounds and riffs of this EP are all excellent and really give a back bone to each song, but that was all I liked about the songs. I think there was a little too much shouting for my liking. You can either love or hate these guys, no doubt they will carry on causing mayhem at a venue near you.

Rating: 5/10
