Boy Kill Boy’s 1st single from the new album is here, and it sounds like… the first album all over again.
However, evolution isn’t always the best policy for sophomore efforts, and, if this track is anything to go off, the 2nd album should be just as good as the first.

“No Conversation” is driven by Chris Peck’s strong guitar and impeccable indie-pop vocals.
Synths make the track sound more complete in some areas, but drown Peck in others.

Overall, Boy Kill Boy’s return is a good one, the limitations that they’ve always had are still present, but so are the hooks and the melodies that shot them into the limelight in “Suzie” et al from debut album “Civilian”. Worth a listen.
